What is an ATS and why does my resume need to be compatible?

ATS (Applicant Tracking System) are software platforms like Workday, Greenhouse, and Taleo used by companies to automatically filter resumes before a recruiter sees them. If your resume isn't compatible, it might be discarded even if you are qualified.

Is my resume sent to any server?

Text extraction happens 100% in your browser (client-side). Only the extracted text is sent to our server for semantic AI analysis. Your original file never leaves your computer.

Which AI is used for the semantic analysis?

We use Gemini (Google) for semantic skill matching and contextual suggestions. The rule-based analysis (formatting, sections, contact info) runs locally in your browser without AI.

Is there a usage limit?

Yes, to keep the service free there is a limit of analyses per minute and per day. When reached, a countdown timer will appear indicating when your next analysis will be available.
